Position Overview

The exciting, fast growing Digital Factory division of Siemens PLM Software is actively recruiting for Professional Services Product Architects.

As a Siemens Professional Services Product Architect, you are the point person for building a strong relationship with customers and helping them realize their vision within their industry. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, technical leadership skills, process improvement skills as well as Teamcenter PLM configuration and customization implementation skills.

As part of the Professional Services team, you will work with Consultants, Solution Architects, Project Managers, Industry Experts and Product Development teams to ensure project and customer success.

Responsibilities :

  • Understand and demonstrate how Siemens PLM services will impact and integrate with customers’ initiatives, business drivers, value and impact.

  • Leverage industry best practices and templates for the Siemens PLM Software solution delivered to provide customervalue.

  • Lead the architectural design area of one or many product domain solutions to address the customers’ business requirements.

  • Understand customers’ goals and objectives in order to identify what change initiatives are needed for the customer to be more efficient and productive.

  • Translate business requirements into specific PLM solutions, applications or process designs for moderately complex projects.

  • Support project management activities to control scope, cost, schedule and quality.

  • Communicate project processes, progress by interacting with the customer to support customer expectations and support customer adoption.

  • Make technical recommendations and implement overall system design of the Teamcenter PLM Solution.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • BS degree in Mechanical and/or Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, Technology or equivalent knowledge of PLM.

  • Multiple years implementing Teamcenter solutions or similar products, such as Enovia, ePMD, Windchill, Aras Innovator or Agile.

  • Previous experience with Enterprise PLM, ERP or MES implementations.

  • Experience leading a group of consultants during a software implementation.

  • Multiple years working in a customer facing environment.

  • Good communication skills at various levels throughout an organization.

  • A self-starter with strong communication skills.

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Experience with Teamcenter

  • Teamcenter Active Workspace development experience

  • Experience programming with C++/C#

  • Knowledge of NX, TC integrations

  • UX/UI design and software development

  • Rapidly create mockups, wireframes, and storyboards to express a new technical idea or function visually

  • Creativity to develop simple but effective user interfaces

  • Experience with HTML and CSS styling

  • Experience using SQL queries, JSON, JQuery, Ajax, and XML

  • Microsoft .NET, HTML, PHP, JQuery, Java, JavaScript and Python, and other modern based programming languages.

  • Experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems

  • Experience with WebServices (REST, GraphQL, etc.)

  • Experience in developing and driving SOA strategies within large enterprises and deploying SOA implementations to production

  • Experience with source control software

  • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle Methodology

  • Experience with the software development of web based applications
