Support Manufacturing facility with chemical waste treatment operation requirement.
Monitor, operate, and record daily activities associated with chemical waste treatment operation
Operate a treatment bath operations within SCDHEC, sewer district, and internal Siemens parameters and compliance parameters
Reports directly to Manufacturing Engineer assigned to Waste Treatment operation
Conduct physical/chemical sampling of facilities P/C Waste treatment (non-biological) process tanks/streams
perform analyses, taking action as necessary and recording measurements/actions in applicable record logs
Monitor and regulate effluent discharges at designated points with the P/C Waste treatment stream to insure full compliance with SCDHEC, SSSD, and Siemens internal permit levels.
Perform daily/weekly/monthly operator-performed maintenance of the Waste treatment system
Maintain adequate chemical inventories to sustain continuous operation.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Active south Carolina state-license holder of Physical/Chemical Wastewater Treatment operator level A,B,C, or D
2 years of industrial waste treatment plant experience
2 years experience in manufacturing environment
No travel required

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Technical Degree in Chemical science
Electroplating process experience
Fork lift certification
