Job Description:


Siemens Industry is looking for a Bid Coordinator to support the Phoenix and Las Vegas markets. This person will support the sales team in the aforementioned geography. The successful candidate will review requests from customers, sales engineers, and other bid coordinators. They will also work with the business unit. This person reports to the Sales Manager and will have no direct reports.


• Distribute Bid List – Generate the bid list from PHILOS and send it to team as well as distribution partners.

• Manage PHILOS – Drive team to use the PHILOS and keep their opportunities updated. Keep all other information within PHILOS up to date.

• Bid Meetings – Schedule bid meetings per the manager’s instructions. Facilitate the meeting by reviewing the open PHILOS opportunities.

• Strive to bid over $4M in quotes in a given month in the first year.

• Bid Coordinator is responsible for getting Buyout Quotes from MAP group.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Education:

  • Proposal creation/Bid Coordinator experience but not required.

  • Excellent oral and written skills.

  • Ability to work in a team as well.

  • College degree preferred but not required.
