The role.

We are seeking an experienced International Transportation Specialist to join our team to implement Imports & Exports autonomously. You will build upon your hands-on experience analyzing & implementing consolidation program for both Sea & Air in & out of our US factories, E2E.

This role requires a strong desire on implementing automation using our inhouse tools in parallel to providing logistics guidance during ERP (SAP) integration of external platforms.

Qlik, Power BI, Mendix experience helpful, training provided for an enthusiastic, talented candidate.

You are well experienced in all modes of transportation and support daily in and outbound deliveries, work with Customs Clearance team, documenting SOPs, work instructions, supplier profiles. You drive continuous improvement throughout the supply chain, develop LOG-plans as well as KPIs with continuous focus on cost savings measures. Your international guidance will be utilized during proposal & planning stage thru to delivering clean documentation for invoicing. You prepare compliant documentation and may assist with customer consultation. Bottom line, your career is centered in the international arena with strong practical experience. Be sure to mention any additional experience such as import classifications, letter of credits, oversize cargo or HAVE worked in the forwarding industry.

• Plan and implement international transport related activities, with minimal direction, ensuring timely, efficient, and compliant delivery of our products worldwide.

• Plan & implement international consolidations, expedite time critical transactions, including offshore exports (foreign to foreign) meeting delivery deadlines and budgets.

• Render consultation during offer phase incl. budget, document and connect with all relevant parties (sales, customer, forwarders, suppliers, import/ export compliance, VAT))

• Develop forward looking comprehensive logistics plans, considering factors such as budget, timelines, and project requirements including triangular exports.

• Prepare and maintain documentation requirements, including shipping documents, customs paperwork, and compliance records.

• Experience in customs clearance and center of gravity analysis’ a plus.

• Apply automation to build transactional level reporting, forecasts, reports.

• Review ERP system (SAP) to verify contractual terms, supervise actual delivery path and initiate discrepancy resolutions to plan.

• Implement automation using our inhouse tools in parallel to providing logistics guidance during ERP (SAP) integration of external platforms.

• Obtain Logistics quotes, verify against actuals freight debits, expand on existing automation to illustrate savings and drive lane optimization.

• Knowledgeable in customs classification for exports, deeper Import classification knowledge useful.

Your profile.

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

• Preferred 5+ years of hands-on experience in transportation operations (Air + Ocean)

• In depth knowledge of shipping and transportation processes, including customs regulations and documentation requirements.

• Have implemented automated solutions to enhance operations or reporting.

• Experience in Qlik, Power BI, Mendix, SAP a plus.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, trusted collaborator for internal and external partners.

• Understanding of Schedule B and export compliance regulations

• Ability to work autonomously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The pay range for this position is $63,700 - $109,200. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
