Siemens US Talent Acquisition
Siemens Healthineers is seeking an experienced Manufacturing HVAC Refrigeration Technician to join our Facilities team supporting the Siemens Diagnostic facility in Newark DE. This is a Full time M-F position on dayshift. We are seeking an individual with programming experience and the ability to upgrade controls schemes. General responsibilities of the Manufacturing / HVAC technician role include:
Evaluate industrial refrigeration equipment to detect malfunctions and diagnose and repair.
Diagnose a broad range of electrical, pneumatic and mechanical issues as they apply to the facility equipment. Air handlers, HVAC, Refrigeration, Freezers, Automation, Pumps, Chillers, Boilers, Cooling towers.
Ability to maintain 5S standards at all times in an FDA regulated environment.
Ability to work in a cold storage environment for prolonged time if and when required.
Ability to disassemble and reassemble complex mechanical equipment.
Ability to research parts required for repairs and subsequent requisitioning. (SAP environment is a plus)
Be an active participant with the TPM program that is on site.
Required Knowledge / Skills, Education, Experience.
Strong working knowledge of programming / PLC / HMI devices.
Strong background with pneumatic systems and controls.
Ability to safely troubleshoot circuits up to 480V.
Universal EPA license is required for this position.
Associate degree or equivalent military experience.
Preferred Knowledge and Background.
Proven track record of delivering excellence on the job - Safety, Quality, Productivity and Attendance.
Must be available to be accept and answer calls to respond to the plant after hours.
Must be available for weekend work and Holidays as required.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to handle the general plant environment of walking and climbing ladders on equipment etc.
Ability to read and take direction in English.
Ability to exceed internal customer expectations.
