What is the Operations Leadership Development Program?
This Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP) places you in the center of some of the most dynamic areas of Siemens’ business operations. You will learn the application of LEAN & Six Sigma tools and apply these skills to improve the business strategy for manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, and procurement in the U.S.
The Manufacturing Program Track provides you with the skills needed to become a Front Line Supervisor in Production, Process Improvement Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or a Production Planner.
The OLDP is a two-year program that consists of three, eight-month rotational assignments. Each rotation combines instructional sessions and hands-on experience. You will receive mentoring from Siemens’ team of innovators, gain access to and network with Siemens senior decision-makers and key leaders, and learn what it is like to work as part of a company that is solving global challenges.

• Supervision of production process including daily operations, improvements on the manufacturing line and reporting
• Distribution, including shipping and receiving schedules, supply chain management, and improving processes for inventory management
• Process improvement using LEAN and Six Sigma

• Majors: BS (Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Bio-Chemistry,Industrial Distribution, Operations/Materials Management, Supply Chain Management)
Graduation Date: Must graduate by the program start date, but no more than one year prior
• Minimum GPA: 3.2
• Potential Rotation Locations include but are not limited to: Mishawaka, IN; Elkhart, IN; Walpole, MA; Edgewater, MA
• Work Authorization: Permanent work authorization in the U.S. is required

Job Family Responsibilities:
Completes a series of job rotations and project assignments designed to develop technical competencies in the area of Operations; participates in several learning workshops and training courses; Develops a well-rounded understanding of the four main process elements of the Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) model: Plan, Source, Make and Deliver.
BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas.
Knowledge and Experience:
Demonstrates a basic knowledge of professional principles and skills. Effectively uses fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization.Typically up to 2 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.

Contacts are primarily with immediate manager and others in the group.
