Job Description:

Siemens Building Technologies is currently searching for a Sales Executive for our Fire Service Sales group. They will be located in either our Miramar, FL or our Palm City, FL office. The Sales Executive is End-User / Property Manager focused position offering on fire alarm / sprinkler Service Agreements

The Sales Executive will be responsible for capturing new service agreement contracts on Siemens and 3rd party fire alarm systems and expanding our service portfolio (sprinkler, fire extinguisher and related services). Under limited supervision, they will and grow our service base and manage new client relationships in the South Florida area.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform service sales of Fire alarm, Sprinkler, and Mass Notification maintenance agreements

  • General Annual Booking Volume is 200K-500K

  • Achieves new order/booking and gross margin goals

  • Develops and implements plans to take advantage of all direct to owner fire sales opportunities within the territory

  • Team sells with other Salespeople as appropriate

  • Effectively performs needs assessments, develops sales, estimates, scope of work, proposals and presentations

  • Works with operations, finance, legal as well as other inside and outside resources to finalize the sales and ensure customer satisfaction

  • Prospect for and qualify new fire service end users

  • Develop and execute sales strategies

  • Prepare extensive sales promotion campaigns for customers to promote product lines to Commercial / Industrial markets

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, although candidates with a combination of education and experience will also be considered

  • 1-3 years’ experience of meeting and succeeding quotas of selling serviceagreements to the commercial and industrial end-users preferred, although candidates with less experience will also be considered

  • Selling negotiated service agreements

  • Spin Selling

  • Effective communication skills to give presentations before a broad audience

  • Understanding of fire alarm systems and code requirements preferred

  • Hunter sales mentality

  • Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license in good standing; must meet eligibility requirements to drive a Siemens company vehicle
