Job Description:

Siemens Postal, Parcel & Airport Logistics is seeking an entry-level Accountant at our DFW Airport site (Irving, Texas). This individual will be responsible for reviewing and processing Accounts Payable transactions within a timely manner. You will be the first point of contact for external vendors for escalation and special handling transactions, as well as, participate in semi-complex accounting activities such as account reconciliation and preparation of journal entries as needed.

Must have the ability to independently perform important areas of standard professional level work that typically requires processing and interpreting, more complex, less clearly-defined issues. Refers semi-complex, unusual problems to others. Identifies and resolves readily identifiable, clearly-defined problems.

Education / Knowledge

BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires extensive SAP and Accounts Payable system knowledge.

Typically up to two (2) years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.

Working relationships

Intra-organizational contacts and external contacts. Provides general guidance or train lower level support staff.
