Manufacturing Human Resources Generalist - Positive People Relations Ambassador

Location: Onsite, Manufacturing Facility in Fort Worth, Texas

As the Manufacturing People & Organization Human Resources Generalist - Positive People Relations Ambassador at SIEMENS you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of collaboration, respect, and excellence within our manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for managing and resolving a wide range of People relations issues and fostering the understanding and adoption of HR policies to create a positive People experience. You will be an integral part of the HR Operations organization and will partner closely with the HR Business Partner team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve People Relations Issues: Proactively address and resolve People relations issues and conduct thorough investigations when necessary to promote a harmonious work environment.

  • Policy Guidance: Provide guidance and interpretation of HR policies to our People at all levels, ensuring fair and consistent application across all levels of the organization.

  • Performance Management: Offer day-to-day performance management guidance to local supervisors, assisting them in effectively managing and motivating their teams.

  • Training Delivery: Coordinate, communicate, and deliver training sessions to our People, including supervisors and managers on various HR-related topics to promote continuous learning and development.

  • Onboarding: Partner with hiring managers, training managers and the HRBP to create a positive onboarding experience for new hires.

  • Coordination and Communication: Efficiently manage People-related requests, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution, while also facilitating effective mass communication of HR updates and reminders.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of HR support across various functional areas. Identify gaps in HR processes and collaborate with various functions within our ecosystem to provide solutions. 

  • Workforce Solutions and People Data Support: Serve as the HR responsible in HRIS system for site, ensuring data integrity of People-related transactions and supporting approved requests for data. Interfacing with HR Ecosystem and GBS H2R to troubleshoot system integration and data accuracy concerns.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration or 3-5 years of applicable HR experience in a manufacturing setting.

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in People and union/labor relations, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

  • Ability to coach managers and supervisors on People relations and performance improvement topics.

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software; including an ability to create v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.

  • Maintains positive relationships through excellent communication, interpersonal, and constructive conflict resolution skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, leverage data to influence decision-making and implement innovative HR solutions.

  • The pay range for this position is $53,000 - $90,900. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
