The advent of digitized patient records being utilized to drive better care, understand complex patients for the purpose of driving better outcomes is here today. New roles are being created that never existed before to meet the demands of this transformation.

The Sr. Manager leads a team of people responsible for driving internal initiatives and delivering external Customer projects, which involve cross-functional teams across clinical consulting, analytics and project management. While this role has the primary responsibility of managing the day to day activities of the delivery team, this candidate will also support internal initiatives that drive operational efficiencies, as well as improve the Customer experience as Siemens delivers value-based solutions that enable Customer growth and overall success.

Responsibilities:

· Supports the pre-sales team in scoping new opportunities and creation of Statement of Work (SOW)

· Manage resources to assist in projects: monitor workload, ensure job proficiency, develop career goals by evaluating and monitoring individual staff performance and giving appropriate feedback, identify training and development needs and serve as role model and coach by providing feedback to improve performance

· Escalation responsibility for technical issues that arise in the PMO portfolio covering all inflight projects and customer requests ensuring timely resolution

· Assists in developing departmental budgets and business plans per functional area

· Identifies resource needs with business justification

· May recommend/determine organizational structures and supervisory relationships for own segment of division

· Supports the process of product launches/implementation projects which involves multiple departments across multiple lines of business

· Help to build and improve the implementation, training methodologies and the tools needed for future implementations

· May be called upon to work with Siemens partners in managing relationship and deliverables

Competencies & Capabilities:

· Capability to manage multiple employees, typically non-exempt administrative or technical employees, as well as maintain performance management responsibilities specific to hiring, termination and promotion decisions

· Ability to demonstrate and apply broad knowledge of concepts, practices and processes for managed team and how they support related business operations

· Demonstrates understanding and application of supervisory approaches for work direction, motivation, performance management and disciplinary action

· Experience or ability to not only manage your direct team, but also indirectly manage others within a project team environment (matrix environment)

· Self-starter, self-motivated, high level of initiative within a fast-paced, constantly evolving Healthcare environment

· Result focused, ability to solve complex problems and resolve conflicts in a timely manner

· Communicates and presents effectively; ability to communicate with customers’ C-level, and with internal Management

· Entrepreneurial spirit, passion for Digital Services

· Ability to travel (up to 50%)

Experience & Education:

· BS/BA in related discipline or advanced degree, where required

· 5 - 8 years of successful experience in a directly related field and successful demonstration of Responsibilities as presented above

· EHR/EMR and Imaging IT implementation, integration and/or support experience

· Population Health experience preferred; knowledge is required
