Job Description:

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to work on advanced

exploration techniques for engineering design. Our software, HEEDS,

automates the engineering design process with intelligent search and

process automation. It leverages disparate compute resources

(workstations, HPCs, Cloud, etc.) with advanced search techniques to

provide innovative solutions to challenging design problems. The job

will involve working on all aspects of software development related to

design sensitivity, robustness, reliability, data mining and big data

visualization.

Job Responsibilities

•Design, implementation and maintenance of features related to design

space exploration and data analytics

•Follow the established development processes

•Write and review software requirements documents

•Create QA tests for the implemented functionality

•Detailed documentation of the implementations

•Research and fix assigned bugs

Required Qualifications

•MS/PhD degree in Mathematics/Computer Science/Engineering

•Experienced in the implementation and application of design space

exploration techniques (e.g. DOE, Reliability, Optimization,

Sensitivity analysis, …) and/or data analytics techniques

•Proficient in application of OOP using C+•Good teamwork and cooperation skills

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

•Experience with Qt Framework

•Experience with applying numerical methods

•Commercial software development
