IT Business Systems Integration Partner

At Siemens Congleton, we are seeking a diverse and inclusive team player with a strong ERP background to lead a transformative programme of work at our electronics manufacturing facility in Congleton. As the IT Business Systems Integration Partner, you will drive the transformation of how our facility uses and interacts with our current SAP R/3 system, paving the way for the upcoming SAP S4/HANA migration, known as SherpaX.

The Role:

In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to identify and optimise business processes, define requirements for SAP enhancements, and work closely with Headquarters ERP colleagues to develop an implementation roadmap. Your expertise and leadership will be essential in preparing the business for the SAP S4/HANA migration, ensuring a seamless transition, and maximising the benefits of the new system.

As an SAP enthusiast, you will bring users together, share knowledge, and upskill the workforce, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration. Your extensive knowledge of SAP processes in MM/WM/PP modules will be instrumental in streamlining business processes and increasing productivity throughout the organisation.

You’ll make a difference by:

  • Establishing ERP needs via business process analysis and consultation.

  • Defining and creating solutions using SAP standard functionality in conjunction with other module specialists.

  • Developing user-friendly functionalities and interfaces.

  • Supporting migration activities to SAP S4/HANA with global migration team

  • Providing technical support, translating business process into technical requirements and training ERP end-users.

  • Preparing development progress updates and documenting ERP processes.

  • Adhering to company policies and industry regulations.

  • Keeping abreast of the latest ERP upgrades and offerings.

Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience will include:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or similar preferred.

  • Certification in Oracle SaaS ERP or SAP ERP business process integration.

  • Extensive experience as an ERP specialist in a related industry.

  • A background in business administration, project management, or a related field will be advantageous.

  • In-depth knowledge of ERP development tools, coding languages, and business processes will be advantageous.

  • Great organizational and time management skills.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and communication abilities.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
