Siemens Building Technologies is looking for a Project Scheduler to support our Field Organization. The Large Project Organization Scheduler position will be responsible for developing all project scheduling activities in strict accordance with the project contract documents. This person will report to the Director of System House Excellence and have no direct reports.
You will be responsible for supporting the Midwest territory including TX, OK, KS, NE, SD, ND, MN, IA, MO, IL, WI, MI, IN, AR, LA, MS, AL and western portion of KY, TN & FL. This position requires 50-75% travel so the successful candidate should be located near a major airport.
Utilizing industry standard scheduling tools, the LPO Project Scheduler will be responsible for the final development of and the ongoing maintenance of assigned LPO schedules… ensuring that all contractually defined schedule requirements are strictly adhered to. The Scheduler will also be responsible for resource loading (both human and financial) of the project schedule and the ongoing maintenance of same.
The Project Scheduler will provide preliminary planning and schedule analysis in support of the Project Executive, the Project Management Team and the Sales Team during RFP response and proposal preparation efforts. The Project Scheduler will review and critique the logic, sequence and durations of subcontractor’s project schedules and is responsible for their ongoing maintenance.
The Project Scheduler will assist the Project Controller in preparation of monthly Applications for Payment and will assist the Project Management team in determining the potential overall project impact from Changes-in-Scope, ASIs, RFIs, Field Orders, etc; as well as cash-flow management; Earned Value analysis and financial/human resource projections.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
All qualified candidates MUST have the following:
Microsoft Project 2013
Microsoft Project Server
5 plus years experience as Project Scheduler, scheduling management experience on complex construction projects.
Ability to travel 50% - 75%.
Bachelors Degree in Construction management or Engineering.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Not required but would be a plus:
- Oracle Primavera P6 Certified.
