Job Description:

Position Overview

Are you ready to enable a supply chain delivery molecular diagnostics world-wide?

  • Spearhead business process improvements

  • Build the foundation for big data analysis

  • Support operational integration efforts

  • Ensures supply chain continuity and on time delivery to our customers

  • Reports to Head of Operations and Quality, Molecular Diagnostics


  • Lead and support all Supply Chain Management (SCM) efforts to facilitate best practices throughout the organization for new and existing product operations within current business information systems

  • Working knowledge of SAP workflow, processes, and master data for procurement, production planning and execution, warehouse management, order management, transportation, and logistics

  • Analyze and improve existing business process methods and workflow to promote effective operations (standardization, improvement, simplification, or discontinuance) through on-going master data management

  • Ensure business process methods and workflow are in alignment with strategic direction of the organization

  • Report on operational metrics to support financial forecasting

  • Support project teams in the creation of new Siemens Material Numbers (SMNs) for customer/service orderable products

  • Contribute to future system integration teams with data governance support

  • Monitor, analyze, and improve material master data integrity

  • Problem solving of work flow and business information system process issues

  • Participate in the coordination of engineering changes, product phase-out, and new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material or production flow

  • Collaborate with all SAP data owners, such as, Marketing, R&D, Finance, Procurement, Service, Regulatory, Quality Assurance, Logistics, and Supply Chain to evaluate and validate master data and ensure data integrity

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain, or industrial engineering.

  • 8 years in Customer Service, Logistics, or Supply Chain

  • 5 years related experience in master and/ or reference data management

  • Medical device manufacturing and / or supply chain experience

  • Advanced SAP user, deep knowledge with SAP supply chain applications

  • Strong process management and attention to details

  • Amount of travel 10%

  • Strong skills in problem solving

  • Ability to take a proactive attitude and work under pressure to urgent requests

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
