Job Description:

The Application Project Manager's (APM) primary responsibility is to function as the project manager in large IDN/Consolidator/multi-site implementations.

Responsibilities:

The Application Project Manager provides Project Management for Top Accounts, IDNs and multi-site installation. The APM may interface with Technical Application Specialists, Sales Representatives, Field Service, TAO Management, HCS, CCSE, Technical Solutions Center, Marketing and Customers. May be assigned special projects to benefit TAO nationally especially where it impacts installations and drives quicker revenue.

Key Responsibilities (Problem Solving, Critical Thinking)

  1. Is the lead on large scale, IDN, consolidator, multi-site implementations 2. Leads all Siemens & customer activities on IDN/consolidator & multi-site implementation projects 3. Coordinates conference calls & or face to face meetings with all those involved on implementation projects 4. Drives all communication on projects both internally and with customers, keeping all parties informed 5. Drives project to maximum efficiencies, including best install times with optimum customer satisfaction

Key Responsibilities (Problem Solving, Critical Thinking)

  1. Uses standard Mind Jet tool for communicating where appropriate 2. Must have the ability to manage mid to highly complex projects. 3. Requires travel to meet the needs of our customers and the organization. 4. Primary responsibility is to orchestrate project management for large IDN’s and complex installs in zone. Collaborates with AHC, Service, Sales, AIM and TAM for resources. Maintains project lead for one face to the customers. 5. Works in accordance with government regulations, FDA and OSHA: works in accordance with the Siemens Quality System, including adherence to all applicable training requirements and enforcement of all company safety guidelines 6. Possesses the ability to do formal presentations in front of large groups of Siemens personnel or customers.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

PMP certification or extensive project management required. Ability to travel extensively required.

Medical Technologist or clinical lab experience strongly preferred. Customer facing experience and working at the IDN - level, strongly preferred.
