TITLE: Senior Software Engineer
COMPANY: Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc.
DUTIES: Complete design of complex software systems integrating hardware and software. Coordinate development team throughout all stages of projects. Coordinate responsibilities to team members for various parts of projects, perform checks on project progress, and ensure professional services are met upon agreed client milestones and scope of work. Deliver highest quality services and products. Detail project progress and use of project resources to identify and enhance technologies for commercialization.
REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and 3 years of software development experience in the medical devices industry. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the listed fields and 5 years of required experience. Experience must also include two (2) years with the following: Software code design and software algorithm design for processing advanced medical imaging raw data sets, display of multi-dimensional medical images, inter-process and inter-system communication, image handling aligned with DICOM standard, object-oriented design, and managed & unmanaged code; and expertise in Prism, .NET, C#, and C++. Approximately 5% travel required.
OTHER: Ann Arbor, MI . 40 hours/week; $99,200 / year.
