We are looking for a Senior IT Service Manager to become part of our Siemens Financial Services Information Technology team. This role has end-to-end responsibility within an agreed framework, to deliver and maintain business applications.

Delivery of the application must at least meet agreed Service Levels, security, governance, or compliance requirements while working with teams from IT service operations.

The application we need your support for is our SFS Data Platform, being a cornerstone of our data strategy recently added to our portfolio with a focus on future growth and building the basis for many AI and analytics use cases. Therefore you will have the chance to influence our journey every day and build the future together with us.

Your mission will be…

  • Have end-to-end responsibility together with another Service Manager for the operations of our SFS Data Platform as well as coordinating, managing, and supporting system developments as required and according to agreed business requirements.

  • Ensure maintenance and support together with Support/Systems teams while aiming for the highest user experience and no unplanned down time of business applications.

  • Understand the technology and processes of the platform and drive the

  • Ensure all current known activities are reported and documented in accordance with agreed procedures. Responsible for ensuring all documentation is available in agreed libraries to audit standards.

  • Drive digitalization and system automation and strive for continuous service improvement.

  • Be responsible for communication, collaboration, and relationship management to key internal and external stakeholders, regarding application status, planning, and information sharing.

  • Ensure system compliance with EBA Guidelines and local regulations, Cybersecurity and IT audit requirements.

We are looking for someone with…

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or a comparable technical field of study

  • 5+ years’ experience, preferably in a financial services company, in a technical and managerial role with business process, system architecture

  • Technology-related skills in data warehouses & platforms and cloud environment

  • Analytical skills, information processing, strong critical thinking and decision making

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications

  • You have an organized and result-oriented way of working as well as a strong sense of quality awareness.

  • You are self-driven and a self-learner, able to understand amounts of information focusing on the relevant items.

  • Fluent business English language skills (speaking and writing)

An additional plus would be:

  • Knowledge in data architecture and data mesh concept

  • Azure cloud or Snowflake knowledge

  • ITIL & Agile qualification or demonstrable that there is considerable relevant experience.
