The role.

Innomotics is looking for a multifaceted professional to provide database architecture and administration support for the Sales Finance Administration organization serving the sales professionals across all Innomotics business in the United States. The position develops, maintains, and reviews the Incentive Compensation Database and SAP system data that drives all commercial aspects of sales incentive commission, third party agent contract payments, and statements to sales professionals and business developers. The objective to ensure uptime, visibility and accuracy of the Incentive Compensation Database with end-user interface capability is paramount. The role handles confidential information and must ensure alignment to Information Security and P&O (HR) guidelines, policies and procedures always. This role directly contacts internal collaborators such as regional management, sales management, sales controlling, P&O and finance to align targets, achievements, payouts, short and mid-term plans.

The position reports disciplinarily to the US Motors and Drives Controller. It is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

  • Support of Sales Incentive and Commission Processes for Drives, Motors, Systems and Customer Service activities.

  • Coordination of internal partners, ensure commercial alignment to Sales Incentive Plans, Information Security and P&O guidelines, approval authority matrixes and final statement payout creation.

  • Work closely with sales team to develop database algorithms that support Sales Incentive plan strategies and help setup database to facilitate such plans in a timely manner.

  • Review plans and specifications to convey project requirements, facilitate document reviews and assist with budgetary bid exercises.

  • Develops, aligns, and implements database solutions to facilitate the execution tracking and payment of sales incentive compensation schemes and 3rd party sales agent commissions that align to business strategies.

  • Validated analytical skills, with ability to apply problem solving techniques, creativity, and critical thinking to develop technical solutions that serve a matrix structure with the capability to encompass Sales Hierarchy and Regional Hierarchy setups.

  • Validated ability to work autonomously, take ownership of issues and collaborate with /consult with peers and others outside of functional area to resolve sophisticated issues and improve existing processes.

  • Validated understanding of basic financial and legal contract principles.

  • Responsible for all activities & associated supplemental changes to sales incentive database(s), SQL code, end-user interfaces and SAP source data.

  • Collaborating with the Sales team to ensure adjustments and reconciliations are both complete and accurate in a timely manner.

  • Tracking of “stewards of the business” initiatives and 3rd party rep commissions.

  • Troubleshoots and resolves sophisticated problems within multi-departments and/or multi-functional areas in international environment.

Your profile.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferred in Computer Science, Engineering, or CIS

  • Experience: At least 3+ years working in data analysis, data architect, database scientist, code/database role with basic financial and legal contract involvement.

  • Travel: < 5% to internal department meetings as needed

Skills :

  • Strong SQL skills/ coding skills

  • Strong Access skills/ Incentive or Compensation Database skills

  • Basic knowledge of SAP

  • Experience performing tool/ data pulls independently

  • Skilled in the following tools but not limited to: Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Snowflake

  • Highly skilled in Excel (this goes and points back to Access)

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial.

  • Demonstrable ability to identify and resolve sophisticated problems and apply problem-solving skills optimally is needed. Ability to operate independently, make decisions and recommendations to resolve issues.

  • Must be able to multi-task, prioritize workflow, perform under critical deadlines.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to multiple management levels

  • Collaboration with US Sales Management function in target alignment, definition and implementation of Sales Plans, strategies and function excellence.

  • Demonstrates and applies sophisticated knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures for areas handled and commanding knowledge of other areas in the company and how they interact.

  • Proven track record to align with business partners on objectives and priorities as well as collaborates multi-functionally for implementation

  • Experience with digitalization, business process improvement, or similar functions.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience :

  • Experience in review of working in data analysis, data architect, database scientist, code/database role with basic financial and legal contract involvement.

  • Exposure to direct customer interactions and negotiations of bids

  • Knowledge of SQL / Coding, Access, Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Snowflake, SAP

The pay range for this position is $79,900 - $137,100. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
