We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager (f/m/d) who will to join our team and lead our sales efforts within rolling stock (commuter and regional trains) area in Poland. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in sales and a passion for the railways’ market.
You’ll make an impact by:
Implementing of sales plans resulting from the industry strategy of sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share within the railways industry
Providing information for forecasts and planning, sales and revenue related reporting
Identifying and target potential clients in the railway sector
Investigating and evaluating specific business opportunities for the customer related portfolio
Building customer focused network and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
Preparing and negotiating projects and proposals in cooperation with other involved professionals and management
Monitoring and reporting the market situation; conducting market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitors' activities to stay ahead of the competition
Collaborating with the marketing team to develop effective sales collateral, presentations, and proposals tailored to the market
Staying updated on industry regulations, standards, and technological advancements relevant to the railways market
Conducting training for customers in the field of delivered products, participating in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build industry presence and generate leads
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution
Your success is grounded in:
Minimum 10 years of experience in sales and business development
Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the railways market or a related industry
Deep knowledge of the railway market, including industry trends, key players, and customer needs.
Experience in consulting would be an advantage
Bachelor's or master's degree; technical degree will be an asset
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.
Ability to work in global, matrix organization and building relationships across regions
Fluency in English and Polish (German will be an asset)
Open-mindedness and proactive approach. Self-motivation and results-orientation, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events
Valid category B driving license
