Job Description:

Presales Solutions Consultant II – Robotics & Automation

As part of the Americas Manufacturing Practice group within the Siemens

Digital Factory organization, provide consulting support throughout

the software sales process.

Engage with potential and existing customers to understand their

business processes, and recommend industry specific solutions for

manufacturing production initiatives.

Utilize industry knowledge combined with knowledge of quality and

manufacturing practices, then prepare and deliver customer facing

demonstrations of the proposed solutions.

Work on projects assignments of diverse scope, including short customer

demonstrations as well as multi week/months on-site projects.

Minimum Requirements:

•Qualified Applicants will not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States

•Must currently live near a major airport

•Candidate should have five (5) plus years working experience with robotics and PLCs/sensors/ automation (off-line programing and hands-on experience) used in industrial applications.

•Candidate should have proven capabilities of preparing and delivering technical presentations on the topics of robotics and automation planning.

•Candidate should have excellent communication skills to collaborate with other Siemens solution consultants and with customer prospects.

•Candidate should be willing to travel 50% of time in the continental US, Canada, Mexico, and South America. Limited international travel is required for this position.

•Candidate at least have an Associate’s degree or certification in a Robotics Automation program/field.
