Marketing Communications Specialist 3

Position Overview

Leads the development and completion of customer-facing communications for use with marketing deliverables. The Marketing Comm Spec 3 ensures documents meet company’s high standards for technical and regulatory accuracy, clarity, tone and style and ensures they are produced in an efficient and timely manner. Individual must be able to manage multiple projects of varying scope at the same time, communicate project requirements, and work both collaboratively and independently.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and facilitates the development and completion of high quality customer-facing documentation for global audience

  • Develops and initiates continuous improvement projects for communications

  • Develops and facilitates internal communication from Business Management department to the Regions

  • Works together with Business Management and Marketing on development and communication of Global Sales Programs

  • Works together with Business Management Head on departmental strategy development, implementation and communication

  • Works directly with Marketing and Portfolio & Product Management (PPM) to support product launches and updates

  • Independently manages all phases of the document development cycle

  • Manages multiple, complex projects under critical business timelines

  • Works with a multi-site team with Subject Matter Experts

  • Assist with Marketing and PPM deliverables

Education

BS/BA in English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related discipline; or advanced degree, where required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge/Experience/Skills

  • Minimum 5 years applicable experience

  • Required Travel: 20%

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications capabilities

  • Ability to meet deadlines, solve problems, and adapt to new tools and processes

  • Strong, proven organizational and project management skills and attention to detail

  • Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint

  • Additional experience with Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop and Documentum preferred

Direction of Others

  • May provide general guidance or train lower level support staff.

  • Primarily intra-organizational contact
