The Siemens PLM Strategic Student Program (SSP) is a unique opportunity for undergraduate college students (sophomore or junior standing) to gain real world work experience in the growing field of software, digitization and visualization with our industry leading engineering software. Intern Description:

Currently our State College, PA office has an immediate need now to begin working a part time internship start before the summer, then “flexing” up to a full time summer schedule after spring semester ends. You will help to support the Siemens PLM Software Lifecycle Visualization product development team in the following activities:

• Investigate alternative approaches for using 3rd party tools to provide an enhanced user experience.

• Assist in developing user interface improvements.

• Assist in testing (manual and development of automated tests).

Minimum requirements:

• Progress towards a BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent at Penn State.

• C++ and Java programming experience is required.

• Experience with scripting, XML, development environments (Microsoft Visual Studio), development tools, and Windows/Unix environments is beneficial.
