Job Description

What will I be responsible for?

  • Ensure sales targets are achieved through a carefully devised sales strategy and plan

  • Generate market intelligence system and ensure it is constantly expanded and maintained up to date

  • Ensure post mortem analysis on job closing and establish and constantly update the project closing analysis

  • Keep abreast with new product developments and obtain complete knowledge on products, systems and solutions

  • Ensure receipt of project information at the prospect stage and ensure pre-bid specification influence and develop success oriented strategies for the earmarked projects.

  • Participate in selling to large/key accounts as needed.

  • Provide input for best practice work and incorporate new ideas into projects.

  • Develop sales forecast and provide input to budget.

  • Identify market opportunities and develop strategies to maximize impact to SBT.

  • Participate in development of long range sales planning and growth strategies.

  • Aware of competitor product/service information and demonstrate effective sales tactics as needed.

  • Provide feedback on new products and assess product positioning to maximize achievement of business goals.

  • Maintain ongoing contacts with large/key accounts and consider these customers needs relative to new product development.

  • Maintains trade contacts and participates in functions in industry associations in accordance with company policy.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or other related field.

  • 10+ years of sales experience in the industry; preferably in Building Automation System

  • Good track record of sales in the industry

  • Self-motivated and able to open up new opportunities

  • Good interpersonal skills, with experience working with people from multiple disciplines

  • Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills for interfacing with customers.

  • Possess a valid Driver’s license in good standing

  • Experience in Singapore market with Contracting Relationships

  • Background in CCTV / Card Access System / Fire Alarm System / PA / Products Sales will be a plus
