What are my responsibilities?
Develop, plan and execute annual business plans and strategies to secure development of solution sales according to SSP plans and targets. Solutions include, BMS, Fire detection and extinguishing , Security and CCTV solutions.
Drive and support sales related activities for existing and new business opportunities, develop the market, align sales activities with strategy, be involved in large projects to achieve and secure business.
Monitor solution sales plans, employee and sales performance as well as business processes and ongoing projects (sales funnel, engineering, Project etc.) in order to secure budgets and business plans and targets.
Lead, direct and develop direct reports to enable outstanding performance. Effectively delegates responsibility and /or authority to subordinates with clear guidelines and directions.
Cultivate and engage in inter-company synergy, within IC BT and with other Divisions, through cross selling, key account management and cross learning to promote a cohesive business unit and to foster team spirit within the origination
Establish risk and escalation management to identify and mitigate risks for the area of responsibility (early-warning-system) - together with the controller.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Possess an understanding of the product and / or solution portfolio of his / her area of responsibility and is able to balance this with the business strategy and the market requirements. Continuously develop the portfolio in all life cycle phases to achieve profitable growth.
Know the customer, understand the basics of how customers operate their businesses, and know the different approaches to the market.
Understand the factors / forces that shape customer trends and uses this information in developing strategic goals.
Recognize and influence market development; develops a personal and division orientation that revolves around the needs of the marketplace; design the best way to position the division and develops the appropriate strategies fro implementation.
Familiar with Building Technologies industry (market) environment, i.e., Building Automation, FS and SES solutions business.
Relationship with key market players such as building contractors, M&E consultants and facilities managers, public, commercial, industrial and residential infrastructure.
Minimum 5 years of experience in related industry or mechanical and electrical contracting sectors.
Minimum 5 years of experience in systems sales management in related industry or building construction sectors. Additional professional marketing or management qualification is desirable.
Minimum 5 years of experience in managing 6 or more FTE`s. Capable to guide team members to pursue common goals and to influence subordinates and peers with ideas and solutions.
Possess working experience in multinational corporations. Able to communicate and interact with different levels of people. Understanding of different behaviors and ability to react/adapt to changing environments.
