You’ll break new ground by:

• Statutory finance reporting: Prepare statutory financial statements in adherence to local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and generate other statutory reports, including surveys required by the Department of Statistics.

• Audit Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely completion of audits.

• Business Partnership: Act as a business partner to the Business Unit (BU) on accounting-related topics.

• Internal Control Support: Contribute to the Internal Control (IC) process and activities and support the Policy Control Master Book (PCMB) assessment process, encompassing applicability analysis, control requirement self-assessment/detailed assessment, and deficiency reporting when necessary.

• Enterprise Risk Management (ERM): Assist in the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process, including identification and documentation of bottom-up (ad-hoc) risks/opportunities, assessment, response plan development, and ongoing monitoring, and facilitate the inclusion of vertical reporting lines in the ERM process.

• Signature Guideline Implementation: Coordinate the implementation of signature guidelines and integrate them into the Internal Control (IC) process.

• Local Taxation: Liaise between the BU and the tax team regarding local tax matters.

You’d describe yourself as:

• Holding a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field

• Bringing a minimum of 5 years' experience in audit, accounting, commercial, or business administration roles.

• Possessing solid knowledge of SAP ERP systems and other financial platforms. Experience in an internal control environment will be a distinct advantage.

• Demonstrating strong negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
