Looking for a great sales account manager position working across various industries with a top tier instrument line? Reporting to the West Sales Manager, this position in their team of six account managers will focus on the sales development of instrumentation product technologies in the Industrial and Water markets in the Minneapolis, MN, Denver, CO, and Salt Lake City UT areas. This position can be worked from a home office. The successful candidate should have firm understanding of the associated engineering firms and working knowledge of the major customers in the key segments. A background in Process Instrumentation including pressure, temperature, level and flow is needed. Position will include working with other aspects of the business including our outside sales force for Process Analyzers, DCS, Motors and Drives, and Switch Gear. A close relationship with our Primary Sales Representatives, Proposal Group and Product Marketing is required.
The Account Manager will be responsible for implementing strategic business unit objectives at key accounts by cultivating log-term relationships with management personnel within a customers organization. Develop and execute account plans to ensure business goals are achieved. Track and support key project activities within assigned accounts and work with local representative to assist in closing business.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
BS/BA in related discipline
5 years of successful experience in instrumentation or related field
60% required travel
Proven ability to develop rapport with customers
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
Experience with CRM tools and strategic selling planning

Individual must possess a valid Driver's license in good standing.
Individual must be at least 21 years of age in order to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Preferred major in instrumentation, electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering
Working knowledge of fieldbus structures including HART, Profibus, Modbus and Foundation Fieldbus
Understanding of DCS and PLC systems
