Winston Salem Service Center Financial Team is responsible for financial integrity, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement within PS PG RNA 4. As a Financial Analyst you will be responsible for the following responsibilities:
Perform analysis and reporting to support the Siemens Winston Service Center’s manufacturing and central site operations including forecasting, margin analyses, inventory analysis, month end closing, cost center variance analyses, month end and interim reporting, account reconciliations, and general business support for the facility
Assist in developing excel file analyses and, on occasion, Powerpoint presentations to support forecasting, budget to actual variance analyses, audit support
Support the Operations Team in review of and compliance with financial internal controls for purchasing, accounts payable, and fixed asset transactions.
Review of capital appropriation requests to insure business benefit values are properly stated.
Complete validation review of cost savings initiatives (i.e. PUMA Web Projects) developed by the Operations Team for submission to RNA 4 and RNA Management.
Required Knowledge, Education, and Experience:
BS/BA in Accounting 8 + years of successful experience in financial planning / analysis, operations cost accounting or similar cost related field
Strong accounting and financial analysis background
Working knowledge of SAP is a plusAbility to work with others to handle a variety of projects independently or with minimal supervision
Proficient in Excel
Ability and willingness to work overtime, at month end and during the month
Flexibility to adapt in a fast paced changing environment with very demanding and changing deadlines
Excellent communication & teamwork/networking skills
