Main Duties:

  1. Overseeing and managing technical & engineering aspects of projects or a team within an organization. Primary role is to ensure the successful execution of technical & engineering requirements in projects in coordination with project managers, project engineers, and drive the achievement of projects goals.

  2. Plan & organize technical solutions for concerns in project within the established project timelines and allocate technical & engineering resources whether on-site or off-site.

  3. Lead and manage a team of professionals such as support/integration engineers, developers, or technicians. Technical/Engineering manager provide guidance, mentorship, support to team and monitor tasks progress and foster collaboration and productive work environment, promote teamwork, and resolve any conflicts that may arise.

  4. Strong technical background and understanding of Security Systems, BMS/HVAC Systems & Fire Alarm Detection System. Expertise in areas such as software development, engineering principles, system architecture, or IT infrastructure is essential to make technical decisions.

  5. Act as a bridge between technical team and other stakeholders, such as clients, executives, or other departments. Provide regular updates on technical project progress and communicate technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.

  6. Managing technical risks identified in projects and mitigate risks associated. Prioritize risk management strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure projects success.

  7. Responsible for ensuring the quality of technical deliverables in strict compliance with quality standards.

  8. Oversee design from sales & accordingly do the required adjustments as per site.

  9. Work closely with project engineer and other project stakeholders to understand buildings requirements and develop a comprehensive system BoQ (BMS, Security & Fire Alarm) that meets the functional and operational requirements.

  10. Selecting appropriate hardware and software components and ensuring compatibility and interoperability with other systems.

  11. Design technical BoQ for the Security, BMS/HVAC & FA System projects on-hand with PMs.

  12. Cross check the BoQ provided by sales to make final design as per project specifications, shop drawings and site conditions.

  13. As per project site locations finalize the BoQ with appropriate field devices/panels configuration with right Siemens controllers and modules.

  14. Meeting with stakeholders like contractors, consultants and make sure that all their concerns are addressed in line with project team, specifications and budget & get the design/engineering approved.

  15. Specializes in technical assessments & assigning right resources required for projects.

Technical Knowledges & previous experiences:

  1. Building Management Systems (BMS) including Energy Management System, Lighting System, Total Room Automation System, Life Science & Pharma environmental management Systems, Data Centers PUE calculation Systems and Smart Buildings systems.

  2. Security Systems including CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Parameter Security & Integrated Physical security including Road Blockers, Arm barrier, sliding gates, etc,.. in full compliance to HCIS standards including all classes A, B, C, D & E.

  3. Fire Alarms Systems including Evacuation Alarm Systems, Smoke Management Alarms systems and Public Address Systems.

Must Have:

  1. Candidate should have 10 years of experience in technical & engineering works of BMS/HVAC, Security Systems and Fire Alarm Detection.

  2. Have previously managed or worked as engineering manager in large to midsized projects.
