At Siemens Advanta, we are in search of a dynamic and driven Technical Sales Executive to join our illustrious team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, together with our Sales and Delivery team, you will play a pivotal part in driving the growth of our professional service portfolio in the industrial IoT market in Saudi Arabia. Your expertise in various IIoT technologies, market knowledge, and excellent communication skills will be key in establishing and nurturing strong relationships with our customers. Jointly with Advanta’s CEO in Saudi Arabia you will expand the business and add new customers. Your mission includes contributing to joint account planning, strategy definition, identification of potential opportunities, deal qualification, solution design, technical deal shaping, design and oversight of delivery.

As a Technical Sales Executive you will act as a trusted advisor and provider of technical solutions for our customers when it comes to addressing their (business) needs, pains and/ or goals in line with their digital transformation ambitions. As such, this mission includes identifying new opportunities through innovation conversations with the customer and being accountable for the solution creation and delivery for the largest, most complex and/or innovative opportunities.

In addition, the Technical Sales Executive is responsible for establishing and building credibility globally within Advanta organization as well as with engineering and product management units of Siemens to leverage relevant expertise.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Identify and engage potential customers, understand their needs, and propose tailored solution and integration concepts.

  • Accountability for technical feasibility of solution designs.

  • Collaborate closely with the Regional Delivery team to design and present customized IoT solutions to clients during bid preparations.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to management and the Advanta consultancy team.

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Siemens Advanta's solution portfolio in the Industrial verticals and development competencies, including cloud and edge computing, and custom software development.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and market developments in the Middle East and Saudi Arabia.

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and success. Develop trust and credibility in all established customer relationships.

  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of Siemens Advanta in Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications :

  • Understand the customer’s business and strategy.

  • Understand customer business drivers and compelling & transformative events.

  • Have a solid understanding of the markets and business environment in Saudi Arabia

  • Demonstrated experience in relevant technologies and a strong track record of successful customer projects.

  • Strong domain know-how in at least one of manufacturing, energy, power and utilities or smart campus & districts

  • At least three years of experience in collaboration with middle east customers (culturally adapted)

  • Comprehensive understanding of industry-leading technologies - commercial as well as OSS - and architectures relevant for digital transformation, including, but not limited to AI/ML, AWS, Azure, GCP, HPC, IoT, Semantics, ESB, iPaaS, CNCF.

  • A graduate degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, or business management

  • Ability to understand and match business demands with legal concepts.

  • Proficient presentation and negotiation skills

  • Ability to visualize, simplify and explain complex technical and business solutions.

  • Ability to direct a team of architects and developers during bid creation and technical implementations.

  • Ability to direct delivery of large and complex software solutions

  • Solid understanding of market pricing

  • Technical innovation skills and ability to recognize business innovation potential.

  • Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus.

  • Working experience in Saudi Area and/or Middle East region.

  • Willingness to travel across the Middle East and EMEA as part of project acquisition and delivery.

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results oriented.
