The CT Cyber Security Technology Field seeks an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join our US research and consulting team. The successful candidate will lead a variety of different consulting projects, from small local teams of 2-10 people, to large and global teams of 50+ resources. As part of Siemens’ central research and technology consulting department, we ensure that the Siemens business units have access to a unique set of expertise in the area of IT and OT Security. Our goal is to enable them to develop and deploy high-quality secure products and solutions. Consequently, our team is actively involved in consulting and research, both Siemens-internal as well as publicly funded, to improve and develop innovative product solutions and services, and make them usable for Siemens.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute projects in line with budget constraints and track and report costs throughout.

  • Actively manage execution and risk of multiple projects

  • Assess risk factors of a project; communicate risk factors, define mitigation and remediation plan, and execute as needed.

  • Anticipate potential problems and demonstrate sophisticated reasoning skills as well as creative, innovative and resourceful approaches to developing solutions to complex problems.

  • Provide technical supervision to achieve project goals.

  • Utilize excellent communication skills to communicate technical information with clarity and is able to make concepts understandable to an audience who may not be expert in the field.

  • Report on project status and identify potential synergies or conflicts with other projects.

  • Maintain relationships with principal customer contacts.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Bachelors required in a related engineering discipline + 10 years related technical project management experience

  • Prior experience in cyber security domain preferred

  • Prior experience in industrial domains a plus

  • Prior experience with industrial cyber security (e.g. IEC 62443, NERC-CIP) a plus

  • Solid theoretical and practical knowledge of project management.

  • PMI Certification is a plus.

  • Exhibit strong organizational skills and adaptability in the face of challenging demands and priorities.

  • Outstanding written and interpersonal communication skills in English is required.

  • Show passion for technologies with a can-do attitude.

  • Drive and motivation for career development and open to taking on challenges.
