Join our research group Automation Engineering Software located in Princeton, NJ, for a 5 – 9 month internship, and design and implement software for engineers in diverse application areas such as advanced manufacturing in smart factories, intelligent transportation systems, and robotics. What are my responsibilities?
• You will contribute to industrial research projects on designing and implementing software for engineering of factory automation and autonomous machines
• You will collaborate and exchange ideas with experts in the fields software development solving real-world problems
• You will implement concepts and solutions in prototypes.
What skills are needed to qualify for this internship?
• A current or recently graduated master’s student in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering
• Profound knowledge of computer science and software development
• Experience in developing algorithms
• Excellent programming knowledge in at least one object-oriented language like C++, C# or Java
• Experience in embedded programming or web development considered a plus
• Domain knowledge of industrial automation, programmable logic controllers, is preferred
• Excellent team working and communication (verbal & written) skills in English
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a growing, dynamic, interdisciplinary team of experts.
