Siemens Technical Project Manager (vehicle electrics) in Prague, Czech Republic

Being a project leader in Siemens Mobility means managing a strong team of dozens of engineers from several countries, answering customer questions, and solving technical problems.

We deal with the vehicle as a whole - from project management, development of parent software, development of subcomponents in cooperation with suppliers, to cross-cutting topics such as strength calculations and functional safety.

In the next stages of the project, you will take your train through the approval process and hand it over to the customer on schedule and within budget. Taking your train for a spin in normal traffic is a well-deserved reward for the hardships of developing a new product.

Main responsibilities:

  • Management of an international project team

  • Finding optimal technical solutions using the latest technologies

  • Planning and defining project milestones, monitoring the deadlines

  • Support for vehicle manufacture, testing and approval

  • Communication with project management, the customer, the production plant, and colleagues from the test centre on the circuit

  • Calculations, controlling, and reporting

Key requirements:

  • University degree in an electrical engineering field

  • Previous experience in control system or automation development

  • Experience in technical project management in development

  • English for everyday communication and at least basic knowledge of German

  • Czech for daily communication

  • Systematic, careful approach and an ability to see things in context
