What part will you play?

  • In your new role, you will be Global Finance Business Partner (f/m/d) of the GBS Business Line Hire2Retire taking on commercial responsibility for a global Service Line.

  • GBS Business Lines provide their customers with business services from a number of large as well as smaller shared services locations and some 12.000 employees worldwide.

  • You will become an integral part of the internal Management Team of the Service Line, advise on all business aspects, ensure meaningful reporting for all stakeholders and contribute with your finance and business know-how to upcoming business decisions.

  • Together with the Service Line Management, you will be responsible for defining strategic multi-year business plans, deriving goals for the units in the countries and challenging the countries business performance in regular business reviews.

  • In close cooperation with our CRM team, you will independently calculate offers for Siemens internal customers as well as external customers, accompany pricing and global costing & pricing and provide customer reports.

  • You will be commercially responsible for the service line's digitization projects, which are a core element of the respective growth strategy.

  • You coordinate the budget planning and forecasting process of your Service Line in alignment with the BL management and the GBS Finance BL Head while considering the global planning premises and compliance with applicable guidelines (e.g. compliance, RIC, FRG). You are in regular contact with the global GBS Finance teams.

  • You will be in regular contact with the GBS Finance teams in the various countries and act as their first contact for any finance related topics your service line.

  • In the global business community of GBS, you will be continuously involved in projects to optimize business processes through innovation, automation, and digitalization.

  • You lead international business programs, projects and initiatives and promote local implementation (e.g. productivity projects, benchmarking projects, etc.)

What you need to make real what matters.

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in business administration or a comparable field

  • You have several years of relevant experience in controlling, ideally at Siemens, an industrial or technology company, an external business process outsourcing company or in consulting.

  • You are also well-versed in handling Microsoft Office applications and have experience with SAP applications. Understanding of Siemens-specific applications and analytics tools (e.g. SMART, Dashes, ESPRIT) are a plus.

  • You are enthusiastic about modern data analytics and data visualization tools (Power BI, Alteryx, etc.)

  • You convince with your proven analytical skills, your commitment as well as your focus on results, a confident appearance and your assertiveness.

  • You can demonstrate your communication skills fluency in English, (German is a plus); have very good presentation skills and feel comfortable in personal dealings with higher management
