We are looking for Assurance – Audit Associate, Software with the position based out of Plano, TX.

You need to have a proven track record showing outstanding performance and continuous development and are interested to grow and also work outside of your area of expertise (e.g. in other practices or regions).

Responsibilities:

• Identify key risks in Siemens’s operational and financial environment and develop an understanding of business processes, goals, and strategy to provide analysis and interpretation to management

• Design and execute comprehensive audits particularly for global software and technology businesses to address identified risks.

• Independently drive assurance objectives, define and align conclusions and recommended improvements to drive change in the organization.

• Foster innovation and further development of processes and methodology as well as develop and promote digital use cases that increase coverage and overall assurance in cooperation with our data analytics team

• Participate in meetings with Senior Management and drive discussions about observations, conclusions and next steps from the engagement

Requirements:

As an Audit Associate – Assurance, Software you will need 4+ years of experience in relevant industries (technology, software,, etc.) in a reputable, publicly listed company or in a relevant Siemens industry

As an Senior Audit Associate – Assurance, Software you will need 8+ years of experience in relevant industries (technology, software,, etc.) in a reputable, publicly listed company or in a relevant Siemens industry

• BS/ BA or higher degree in Business, Economics, Accounting or Finance. MBA, CPA, ACCA or ACA qualification is a plus

• Experience in or exposure to various Software business models i.e., Subscription, On-prem etc.

• Experience in FP&A, Controlling, Sales Finance etc. in a software environment.

• Experience in Hyperion, Essbase/Smartview, SAP and Business Objects etc. is a plus

• Experience and knowledge in strategic deals, M&A and exposure to financial due diligence or valuation tasks is a plus

• Fluent English is required with the ability to speak, write, read and interpret documents. Additional languages are a plus.

• Excellent communication skills

• Flexibility to travel 30% including internationally as well as to live/embrace our hybrid work culture

• The pay range for this position is $88,300 – 181,700 along with an incentive bonus between 10-15% structure. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
