What will you do?

  • Test, Troubleshoot and Repair circuit boards in Continuous Gas Analyzer (CGA) units received from external customers per WI's from lead factory

  • Calibrate the units to specific requirements

  • Lead trainer for support personnel

  • Update/revise/implement WI's, Engineering change notices, material holds from lead factory

  • Communicate with internal and external customers regarding diagnostic findings, quotes for repair services, etc

  • Process repairs and credit returns in SAP

  • Attend meetings with Haguenau/Dalian to communicate/review product issues, etc

  • Manage gas bottle inventory levels

  • Monitor equipment to ensure compliance, calibration, function, etc

  • Manage inventory for CGA spare parts

  • Ensure processes and lab meet ISO and any regulatory requirements, support and schedule external audits as needed

What will you need to succeed?

  • College diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering as a technician or technologist or equivalent

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills when working with vendors and internal or external customers

  • Good electronic troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to prepare technical reports for internal and external customers

  • Basic SAP knowledge

  • Team Center knowledge an asset

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft suite programs including Excel, Word and Outlook

  • Good Problem-solving skills when working with the team to develop solutions to customer issues

  • Team focused and able to work under pressure to get the job done i.e. resolve customer issues with minimal supervision

  • Ability to perform heavy lifting, bending, reaching, loading, and moving of material/product when fulfilling day to day duties and responsibilities.

  • Must be able to pass Electronic Test

  • Valid passport and willing to travel up to 4 consecutive weeks for initial training
