The world of technology and IT is closely interconnected. Complex, technologically advanced products require a broad range of knowledge. Vectron locomotives undoubtedly fall into this category. Currently, more than 1,500 Vectrons are operating on European railways, and this number continues to rise. We aim to maintain this trend.

A key parameter for customers is reliability and maintenance complexity, therefore we must continually push forward in this area, refine, and analyze real operating data to accordingly adjust service intervals and tasks tailored to each specific locomotive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing operational data of Vectron locomotives in the web application Railigent (an internal tool) to ensure monitoring of actual component wear, with inputs from SQL databases, MS Excel, etc.

• Producing output reports for the maintenance system

• Creating algorithms for more precise evaluation of operational data

• Further development and expansion of Railigent application functionalities

• Collaboration with specialists in reliability (RAM/LCC) and maintenance

Requirements:

• University degree, ideally in a technical field

• Strong affinity for IT technologies

• Experience with SQL databases

• Good knowledge of the Python programming language

• English and Czech language for daily professional use

• Systematic, meticulous approach and the ability to see things in context

• Time flexibility for business trips, especially to Germany (Berlin, Munich, Erlangen)

Additional qualifications appreciated:

• Experience in developing web applications

• Knowledge of the German language

• Motivation to work in the field of applied development of technologically advanced timeless products
