Strategic Business Planner - Controls and Digitalization Service

Orlando, FL

The new established global Siemens Controls and Digitalization Service organization (PS CD) is looking for a talented and energetic Business Development Specialist in Strategy to join a high energy strategy team who can assist the executive and functional management in making sound strategic decisions.

The focus is on the digital part of the business to develop the mid- long term strategy for new and innovative data-based services and create business insight with the use of intelligent data management and analytics (Customers and Siemens business) to capture digital market trends, new digital service offerings and informs the PS CD business with industrial internet (Industry 4.0) initiatives and strategies.

Long Term:

  • Drives digitalization strategy to expand portfolio and enable growth (organic and M&A)

  • Drive strategy to optimize organizational performance globally

  • Lead strategy projects - that occur / change yearly with high business impact

  • Competitor and market intelligence for Digital Portfolio

Short / Mid Term:

  • Establish strategic planning for PS CD for the digital part of the business

  • Drive major strategic projects (e.g. growth projects)

  • Competitor and market intelligence

  • Guide and lead PS CD reviews

  • Prepare senior management briefings

  • Detect and define organizational setup improvements

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • University Degree (MBA or equivalent)

  • At least 3 years of consulting, corporate or business related experience in strategy and

Business development within the IT/OT sector

  • Genuine interest in industrial internet business, Power Generation / Service business

  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing business, sales or market strategy

  • Demonstrated ability to translate raw data and trends into actionable strategy and clear messages

  • Highly self-driven and motivated, with a strong ability to coordinate and collaborate with a

diverse and geographically separated team

  • Excellent stakeholder management and comfort in executive management context

  • Demonstrate strong communication and influencing skills

  • Excellent English skills – both oral and written
