The Sr. Project Manager (EPC) will be executing large complex EPC projects or programs. Will be overseeing and providing support on budgets, risk, change, opportunity and resource allocation management) for complex projects or programs.
Supports the Sales and Proposal groups by providing project execution inputs to the project sales process and by applying risk management to address commercial and/or implementation issues during the contract implementation phase. For turnkey and consortium projects, will lead the preparation of the project execution strategy and attend/chair technical strategy meetings and bid strategy meetings.
Oversee project results including budget, financialmanagement, risk, opportunities and claims.
Ensures feasibility of bids, assessescontracts in terms of potential risks, opportunities, claims or issues. Implementsthe claims strategy.
Project execution plan and achievement of project EHS, quality, and financialgoals.
Applies broad knowledge of concepts,practices, and procedures for managed work group(s) and how it supportsrelated operations.
Understanding and application of supervisoryapproaches for work direction, motivation, performance management, anddisciplinary action.
Manages project schedule deliverablesincluding milestone and progress payments.
Identify risks and mitigate impacts to theassigned projects; opportunitiesand improvement of project financial performance.
Oversee the performance of the projectteam.
Experience w/ disciplines of finance, order management, manufacturing, transportation,construction and claims management.
Strong knowledge of PM processes andprocedures.
Strong knowledge and understanding ofcontract language.
Strong communicationskills, written and verbal at all levels.
Travel up to 20% domestic/international
Flexible to work extended periods of time at theproject site.
Bachelor's Degree in related field industry
10+ years of experience in managing complex projects orequivalent technical and commercial experience related to power generationequipment and related systems to ensure successful turnkey projectexecution.
2+ years of leading projects from beginning to end
EPC performance knowledge in the management of largeturnkey projects.
