Job Description:

Siemens US Talent Acquisition

Responsible for all aspects of managing and performing the installation and commissioning (site execution) activities which include Power Plants (Combined Cycle / Simple Cycle) Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG), Balance of Plant, and associated Auxiliaries. Specific tasks can include:

o Technical advice and supervision of contractors performing power plant equipment erection work.

o Verify equipment meets requirements and specifications

o Verify all erection activities are performed in accordance with industry standards.

o Manage and perform installation, commissioning, and start up activities associated with integrated power plant equipment and systems across the range of Civil, Mechanical, Process, and Electrical.

o May perform scheduling and coordination of major segments of projects to meet cost and time objectives

o May perform in the routine review of complex engineering designs and documentation to ensure compliance with project design criteria and standards

o Performs tests and bring complex systems into an operational state

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

o Bachelors degree in Engineering

o Practical experience (Co-Op, Internships or training) within related engineering functions for the power generation / energy industry

o Experience or training with power plant design or construction

o Well developed communications skills; able to clearly and concisely express technical information (or data) to non-technical associates, peers, and management

o Demonstrated leadership skills

o Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as work well in groups

o Flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with changing requirements, schedules, and priorities for multiple projects or assignments

o The ability to socialize ideas, make recommendations, and gather team consensus

o Strong Excellent writing, presentation meeting facilitation skills

o Ability and willingness for 90% international and domestic travel

PREFERRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND EDUCATION:

o Bilingual in English and Spanish
