Job Description:

Position Overview

The successful candidate will conduct a range of purchasing activities including but not limited to the following: support Project Procurement Managers (PPMs) in proposal activity and those projects in execution. Support will include helping to keep team organized by assisting in follow up via email and in person with colleagues and other departments, updating various tools and spreadsheets, some data entry. Assistance with preparing reports and presentations.

  • Team player who is a “people person” and enjoys a dynamic environment

  • Strong Microsoft office skills – “expert” level not needed, but need to have good working knowledge

  • Strong organization skills

  • Excellent and effective communication skills – verbal and written

  • Good attention to detail

  • Ideal candidate would also help to make suggestions for areas of improvement, think outside the box and give our team feedback on how to attract younger talent

  • Candidate will not be micromanaged, so ability to self-start and ask for help when needed is important.

  • Candidate will be mentored by highly experienced and successful Procurement team with proven track record

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Candidate must be currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications

  • Excellent verbal written communication skills

  • Able to work in a team environment

  • Problem solving capabilities

  • Comfortable in a dynamic, ever changing environment

  • Local candidates only

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Previous Procurement experience is a plus

  • Bilingual experience is preferred (Spanish, Portuguese, or German)
