Job Description:

Marketing Manager – PS CD

Orlando, FL

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Define and drive implementation of marketing strategy for portfolio elements of PS CD

  • Development of global marketing and sales support material with focus on (creative) transforming technical input into relevant, customer-value driven marketing content (“creative mind”).

  • Production and realization of marketing activities to introduce new offerings into the market, comprising e.g.:

  • Full responsibility for the development and creation of the positioning and the marketing content for several services and for modernization

  • Guiding, stearing and governing the execution of marketing communication measures, done by CC PS

  • Development of creative ideas and concepts, stand-alone or together with marketing agencies

  • Turn technical input into claims, messages, storylines, battlecards etc

  • Consulting and coaching of PS CD’s departments and sales employees with regard to marketing content and marketing strategies

  • Contribution to the preparation and execution of PS’ fairs, exhibits and customer events

  • Interfaces

  • CD: GTM, GOP, ST, CTP xyz

  • PS: CC

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Marketing experience

  • Strong capability to work as a part of a global team and to build up global networks

  • Proven capability to understand very technology based content and to transfer this into marketing content with a strong emphasis on creative writing capabilities

  • Openness and creativity with regard to new ways and new approaches in marketing in particular in the arena of Digitalization offerings

  • Ability to think yourself into the mind and needs of customers and of sales people in different cultures

  • Ability to manage a large number of smaller projects in complex matrix structures

  • Capability to convince people, facilitate discussions and engage other people in other parts of the world in creative processes

  • Long-term experience in working with marketing agencies (and marketing departments)

  • Several years of experience in non-strategic marketing in the B2B business, preferably in the automation sector (if not, in the power generation industry).

  • Proven track record in development and production of marketing content in English language and in the execution of marketing campaigns and projects in the B2B industry.

  • Preferably knowledgeable in the Siemens rules and guidelines for Communication

  • Expert in Powerpoint

  • Fluency in English, strong experience in copywriting, expressive writing style
