Accounts Payable Financial Analyst
The AP Financial Analyst will be responsible for ongoing continuous monitoring activities and controls review, and implementation of mitigating controls in the Siemens Central Finance Shared Services Organization. He/she will be involved in process design, continuous monitoring and recovery. This role will also be responsible to manage and assist with Accounts Payable account analyses. This role will be responsible to identify, develop and implement end to end Accounts Payable and Intercompany Clearing (ICC) process improvements based on continuous monitoring audit findings, recovery results and account analyses. Establish closed loop reporting process for deviations in process performance or issues arising from continuous monitoring and recoveries. Will be responsible for some Vendor Risk Analysis and reporting as required.
-The AP Financial Analyst will be the primary liaison between Finance Shared Services AP and India Delivery Center Audit team and India Quality lead to ensure root-cause analysis is completed on errors found through the daily AP audits and continuous monitoring processes. Where possible work with teams to develop and implement preventative measures to reduce or eliminate errors.
-Manage relationship with 3rd party recovery audit suppliers to ensure maximum recoveries and consistent service delivery. Responsible to monitor and report vendor recovery activity to Divisions.
-Primary liaison between Siemens and continuous monitoring software provider. Ensure all set-up and testing is performed in First Strike as necessary with each migration. Ensure all system issues are resolved.
-Coordinate and lead all continuous monitoring audit activities within CF R FSS NAM AP including vendor risk analysis, invoice and payments activity analysis, and duplicate vendor analysis.
-Primary AP/ICC Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) testing lead, coordinate and lead the overall CF R FSS NAM organization annual ICFR internal controls testing requirements for AP and ICC. Responsible to maintain and create AP and ICC process maps for ICFR testing. Perform annual ICFR internal controls testing as required.
-Coordinate state audit activities for AP.
-Support AP team as needed and perform various other duties and special projects in support of the department and manager as required.

-Will be responsible for some Vendor Risk Analysis and reporting as required.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:
-Minimum of 5 years experience in an Accounts Payable department in a corporate setting
-BS/BA in related field, Accounting/Finance background is preferred.
-General knowledge of Accounts Payable and accounting flow for AP, Continuous Control Monitoring (CCM), business and financial systems.
-Ability to proficiently understand use of various AP related technical systems and auditing tools.
-General understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP).
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organization skills and analytical skills. Strong customer service and teamwork skills, quality and change orientation with initiative and a strong drive for continuous process improvement and eagerness to develop.
-Highly technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Word, Excel, Internet) and SAP. JD Edwards and Oracle a plus.
-Confidence and decisiveness in dealing with 3rd party service providers to ensure adherence to Siemens standards.
-Ability to work in a fast paced environment and with a diversified global team in India.
-There will be 5% travel associated with this position.
