Your Tasks:

• In your role as User Experience Specialist for Grid Software, you will develop a deep understanding of processes, products and users in the field of global power distribution system operators, document and share this with the project team

• To this end, you will conduct user research, analyze the complex requirements and changes from the perspective of users and customers and develop innovative UX concepts from them

• As part of an interdisciplinary project team, you will be responsible for the planning, implementation and follow-up of Design Thinking workshops

• You will advise our Product Managers, (Chief) Product Owners, System Architects, Lead Developers, etc. on all aspects of the user experience in the context of agile software development

• Using modern tools, you will work on the design and implementation of user interfaces, mockups, and prototypes and test them against user and customer needs

Your Qualification:

• You have a master's degree, for example in the fields of communication, design or computer science, or have a comparable education/qualification

• You have many years of relevant experience in the areas of design, usability and ideation (e.g. contextual design) within software development for industry in the B2B sector

• You have good knowledge of web and cloud technologies and experience with scaled frameworks of agile software development (e.g. SAFe)

• You have experience with user research and design thinking and are able to tailor different approaches to specific problems

• You are used to documenting the results of your work in a creative way (story boards, user journeys, personas, etc.)

• You enjoy moderating workshops and presenting results both within the company and with our customers as much as working on creative problem solving

• Ideally, you have basic knowledge in the field of electrical engineering and are no strangers to the topic of digitalization of power grids

• Result-oriented cooperation in interdisciplinary and international teams is a matter of course for you

• A convincing appearance and target group-oriented communication in German and English round off your profile
