Position Overview :
Assists withroutine equipment installation, trial runs and service activity runs toensure that it meets specifications for Commercial Fire Alarm Systems.
Provides assistancewith training customers to maintain and adjust routine Fire Alarmequipment.
Performs routinemaintenance on tools, test equipment, etc. and completes required serviceor systems paperwork.
Assists withresponding to routine Fire Alarm service or systems calls.
Provides assistancein performing assigned tasks for fire life safety system services.
Assists inperforming technical support program (TSP) tasks to include visual andfunctional testing on fire detection systems and field devices inaccordance with all national and local standards.
Maintains completeand accurate documentation of tests performed. Assists in responding toservice calls (emergency and on-site). Provides needed assistance withtroubleshooting techniques and performs minor repairs as directed.
Assists andobserves installing new fire life safety systems and wiring techniques.
Performs minorrepairs as directed.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:
High School Diplomaor GED.
0-1 yearsexperience inspecting fire alarm systems.
Field service andcomputer experience preferred.
Strong customerservice skills.
Goodorganizational, verbal and written communication skills
Individual mustpossess a valid Driver’s license in good standing
Individual must beat least 21 years of age in order to participate in the required Siemensvehicle plan

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:
Associate's degreein Electronics or other technical field preferred.
Basic knowledge ofAC/DC circuitry associated with low voltage systems
