Siemens Industry is looking for a Factory/Performance Controller for their Norcross, GA location. Responsibilities are below but not limited to:
•The PMU ( P roduct design and M anufacturing U L) Factory BA/Trading Goods Controller
will act as the "right hand" to the PMU Controller.
•Will assist and take the lead with consolidating and coordinating financial results of the 8 factories.
•Main Liaison between LP BU segments and PMU organization.
•Responsible for commercial control of the supply chain for PMU Trading Goods
•Gather monthly financial results
•Forecasting & Budgeting of factories
•Establish Net Working Capital forecast targets for factories
•Review forecast proposals
•Potential back up for US factory controllers
•Prepare costing and variance analysis reports for different product lines and help drive cost savings initiatives for factories.
•Support the audit of factory financial statements and internal control systems in accordance with corporate guidelines and policies.
•Ensure that corporate financial, accounting and reporting guidelines are met.
Required Knowledge / Skills, Education and Experienc e
•Bachelor's degree in related field or advanced degree preferred.
•8 + years of progressive professional experience in a directly related accounting and/or finance functional area with emphasis on experience in a plant or a manufacturing site.
•Knowledge of Internal Control Systems
•Familiar with GAAP and FASB requirements
•Understanding of Cost Accounting
•Previous Plant Controller experience a plus
•Knowledge of Accounting and Reporting Systems
•Understanding of Auditing Principles
•The ideal candidate will have firsthand knowledge of manufacturing and how it relates to the financial statements.
•Preferably knowledge of SAP and Hyperion.
•Solid MS Excel and Powerpoint skills required.
