Siemens Industry is looking for a for a Solutions Business Developer for the Southeast or South Central regions, located in Atlanta, Houston or Dallas areas. This person will develop business plans to support market share objectives and drive solutions to achieve a sales target for the assigned region. They will apply an expert understanding of key EM LP PDS products and solutions, provide guidance on designing PDS solutions to Siemens sales and/or Customers, and presenting the solutions to management, sales and end users. The candidate will report to National Solutions Business Development Manager and will have no direct reports.
Provides advanced and comprehensive technical application assistance in key sales situations. Applies current knowledge of competitive products and competitors activities - recommending appropriate products to fill application gaps. Determines and implements pricing and bid strategies. Implements a profitable market strategy.
All qualified candidates MUST have the following:
5 plus years sales experience.
An understanding of the Power Monitoring market and electrical distribution (switchgear, Medium Voltage and electrical equipment). Someone from Energy Management / Power Management field, Electrical Business Development, electrical equipment sales and Power Plants would be ideal.
The ability to develop and present total energy management solutions with Siemens LP core products and third party integration components.
The ability to handle working with all Siemens business units in including Siemens EM; Automation, Construction, OEM, Vertical Markets and other Siemens operating companies like BT, MS, etc. will be needed to develop a Totally Integrated Power solution.
Comfortable with Microsoft operating software and presenting software solutions.
Not required but would be a plus:
LAN / WAN Networking knowledge.
Siemens Automation experience.
Experience in the critical power market with electrical equipment.
Calling on Electrical Consulting firms.
