Job Description:

Specific Requirements

Performs technical consultation and analysis to address complex technical questions/ issues for Hematology products for

internal and external customers globally. Responsible for escalating the visibility of product quality and customer satisfaction issues to business management and takes a leadership role in working with other functional groups to resolve issues. The incumbent will be expected to interface with members of TSC, RSC, RA/QS, Training, Marketing, and regional Sales and Service organizations. Acts as a technical consultant to LD Business Area, Service Lifecycle Management and RSC specialists.

Minimum B.S. in electronics, biomedical engineering, or equivalent in related field experience with a strong technical background. Five to seven years of diagnostic analyzer repair experience preferred. Field Service experience is an advantage. Requires knowledge of Hematology instrumentation, with clinical knowledge a plus. Excellent telephone, communication, and documentation skills are essential to success. A good attitude must be apparent in all communications with a "can-do" perspective. Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills. Ability to multi-task with demonstrated organizational skills. Knowledge of basic statistics and well developed computer skills are required. Requires strong teamwork as well as the ability to work independently.

Position is located in Glasgow, DE, Tarrytown, NY or Walpole, MA. Position may be filled as TSE-3 or TSE-4 depending on experience
