Design as the Heart and Soul of Innovation
Our design team is the heart and soul of the venture. Our journey began with insights gleaned through rigorous market and user research, and our product concepts evolved through extensive user validation and feedback. The influence and importance of design continues to grow, not just within the incubator, but also within the parent company.
We are seeking to add a Lead Strategic Designer to our group. As a senior member of the design team, you will ideate, prototype, and create beautiful consumer-grade interaction designs that will delight users and make them more productive. Your designs will solve real problems for people working at the front-lines of healthcare, and have a direct and positive impact on the lives of the patients they serve.
The Strategic Designer is responsible for
Assist directing research to generate actionable insights that inform our roadmap
Develop ethnographic research to understand customer behaviors and aspirations
Apply quantitative research to frame, validate or challenge market assumptions
Share insights via personas, journey maps, opportunity scenarios, and workflows
Engage clients, stakeholders and users by facilitating design thinking workshops
Bachelor’s degree in a design-related field or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of experience designing responsive, consumer-grade, mobile applications
Expertise with the latest tools and techniques for design, prototyping and testing
Willingness to travel up to 20% to meet clients and users at their location
