The teamplay Sales Consultant is responsible for driving the positioning of teamplay along with the field sales team in the U.S. market from a clinical and operational perspective and the customer adoption during and after the implementation cycle.

The teamplay Sales Consultant role reports into the Director teamplay for Siemens Healthineers.


  • Presentation of teamplay concept and strategic value proposition from a clinical, technical and operational perspective to turn a basic lead into a premium offering

  • Presentation and proper communication of customer data, comparative benchmarks and identification of findings and recommendations

  • Follows up with customers that have signed up for teamplay by assisting with end-user adoption during the implementation and support phases

  • Works closely with field sales and service teams including teamplay sales and support management

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • BS/BA in related discipline or advanced degree, where required. Certification may be required in some areas

  • Successfully serves as point of authority and/or source of technical/scientific knowledge for area of expertise with strong communication skills

  • Demonstrates and applies advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures currently implemented in customer organizations; additionally demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of customer organization's business challenges and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution of those issues

  • Demonstrates full understanding and application of management approaches for work direction, motivation, and performance management

  • Typically 10+ years of successful experience in a directly related field and successful demonstration of Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Strong communication skills and comfortable engaging with executive level management, clinical physicians and customer technical resources required

  • Clinical department management experience preferred

  • Consulting experience in a related business field preferred

  • Sales/pre-Sales experience preferred

  • Ability to travel extensively, up to 95% is required (nationwide)

  • Valid driver's license and good driving record is required
