Job Description:

Position Overview - Central Zone, hub area within the states of PA, OH, MI, IL, IN, MN, or WI

Zone Business Manager operates as the liaison of Siemens Magnetic Resonance Business Unit in an assigned zone, responsible for customer relationship management, business management, and personnel management, with the core goal of driving profitable growth.


  • Business Management: Assess the strategic position of Business Unit in the assigned zone(s). Assist Business Unit Vice President in creation of Business Unit Strategic Plan. Develop programs aligned with Business Unit strategy and implement together with ZGM (Zone General Manager) and RVPs (Regional Vice President). Support the sales process in assigned zone. Ensure that MR market share, volume and profit goals are met for the zone. Manage deal escalation process. Track and report regional key business data. Strive for profitable growth in the zone. Assist in developing Zone budgets.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and build close relationships with important accounts with involvement of both local and global Business Unit leadership where appropriate. Identify critical customer decisions, trends, and assess business implications for Division. Build and manage reference sites.

  • Personnel Management and Development: PSE manager in assigned zone. Allocate technical support resources in assigned zone. Assess PSE technical/professional developmental needs and coordinate development plans. Assist in creation of Product Competency materials. Coordinate with RVP/ZGM to address AE product competency needs.

  10. Skills to guide the team towards a high performance culture

  11. 10 years of Healthcare experience in the field of customer relationship or business management

  12. Bachelor’s degree

  13. Required travel: 50%

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • 15 years of Healthcare experience in the field of customer relationship or business management

  • Master’s degree
